Queenswood
Nursery of
Victoria

One of the benefits of gardening and landscaping in Victoria is the abundant variety of flowering plant material.

Azaleas

We continually grow and bring in Azaleas.  We are particularly fond of the Northern Light series.  Please come in or call to check availability.

Camilias

We field grow Camilias as well as bring in container grown plants.

Hibiscus

We have heard more than one landscaper comment that they can tell what time of year a landscape was installed by the type of flowering material that is planted.  Unfortunately, Hibiscus flowers late - August and September when few people and landscapers are doing installations.  We feel that Hibiscus is one of the most underused plant materials in the Victoria area.  Above is a photo of one of our favorites - Hibiscus Diana.

Magnolias

We field grow magnolias.  There are two types;  Evergreen and deciduous.  Our most popular evergreen Magnolia is "Victoria" which is hardy with a subtropical look featuring large white saucer shaped flowers.

Rhododendrons

Queenswood Nursery is known for our field grown rhododendrons.  Our most popular varieties are:

Anna Kruscke
Annah Rose Whitney
Cosmopolitan
Cunninghams White
Jane Deacon
Goldsworth Orange
Jean Marie de Montigue (pictured above)
Lees Dark Purple
President Roosevelt
Sappho
Unique
Vulcan
